Ifc appears there is likely to be some bother regarding the recent Education Board Election. The Act distinctly requires that, before an el ction takes plice, the written consent of all gentlemen nominated must be obtained. We understand that iv the case of Air Jas. Liuton, of I'alineratou, who was nominated by the Stoney Creek School C jrnmitbee, no such consent; had over been given ; notwithstanding which Mv Liuton' a name was iv the printed lists of caudidates furnished by the Board. It is also rumored that two other goatle:neu (including Mr Halcombe), had not" given their writteu consent to the nomination If such proves co be tho case, the probabili.ies are, that the whole election will be upset. It would certaiuly be better if iv future instances ths Board were to insist upon the written consent of every gentleman nominated being forwarded to it before tho list of caudidates is made out and forwarded to the Committees.
