Charles Hartley — Claim £3 9s 9d. Paid into Court. Same v. Hakarai to Wliena— Ola im £30 15a. Summons not served. Henry Probatt v. James Kennedy — Claim £44 0s Bd. Adjourned for 14 days ; Q. N. Wood v. Toia te Rawhiti— Claim £18, fora grey horse detained by defendant. Hainliff explained that some four years ago during a flood ouo of his horses had got amongst v mob of native hordes, and had boon detained by defendant. Defendant said plaintitf owed him £5, and he detained the horse for 1 security. His Worship told Taia | that ho had his remedy at law, if , plaintiff owed him any mouey, and i must at once give up the horse : costs of case £1. ; Thjmas Pearce v. D. Bailey — J Claim £14 3s. This was an ad- . journed case and was withdrawn. Same v. D. JJandrahan, B. 1 Shearau, and others — Claim £14 13a. ; The plaintiff was nonsuited with , costs £1 Its. His Worship pointed . out to Pearce that several points of » law wero involved, and that it would ' be desirable for him to obtain legal ! advice. The Court then adjourned to January 22nd.
