Wood v. Toia te Rawhiti— Claim £18, fora grey horse detained by defendant. Hainliff explained that some four years ago during a flood ouo of his horses had got amongst v mob of native hordes, and had boon detained by defendant. Defendant said plaintitf owed him £5, and he detained the horse for 1 security. His Worship told Taia | that ho had his remedy at law, if , plaintiff owed him any mouey, and i must at once give up the horse : costs of case £1. ; Thjmas Pearce v. D. Bailey — J Claim £14 3s.
