The following is the population of the principal townships in Rangitikei and Manawatu : — Bulls, 611 ; Marton, 593; Tarakina, 304; Feilding, 759; Halcombe, 532 ; Sanson, 140 ; Foxton, 563 : Palmerston, 880 ; Hadfield (Otaki), 197. The following is the population of the different Hidings in the Manawatu County : — Kiwitea, 40 ; Manchester, 1,713 ; Oroua, 607 ; Taonui, 824 ; Kawa Kawa, 658 ; Awahou, 805 ; Horowhenua, 197.
