At a public meeting last night, I was requested to ask for equal facilities both in goods and passenger trains as are proposed to be giyen to Wanganui, in view of the interests of the port and district of Manawatu. Public Works Estimates not out yet, but they will probably contain one 1-irge sum for Patea-Mana-watu line, and not various sums for different portions of it.
