SPECIAL LIMITATION
SALUTING BY W.A.A.C. GIRLS. Special exeeptions to the regulation requiring all other ranks to salute commissioned officers have been made applicable to the N.Z. W.A.A.C., according to the latest Army Headquarters instructions. Except in the special circumstances mentioned below, officers and soldiers of the Army are not required to salute commissioned officers of the W.A.A.C., but it is expected they will do so in courtesy. Memfoers of the W.A.A.C. will salute their own officers when on duty or on parade. Subjeet to the condition stated below members of the W.A.A.C. are not required to salute commissioned officers of the Army and other Services except as a matter of courtesy. When persOnnel of the Army are not required to serving together within a unit all commissioned officers will salute their seniors, and all other ranks will salute commissioned officers, whether male or female, when on duty or on parade and on any other formal occasions the officer commanding the unit may prescribe.
