HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
To-night at His Majesty's Theatre there will be a change of programme. The leading film is "Playmates,'' which works up to a climax with Shakespeare in Swing, by Kayser and his band. Sweet singer Ginny Simms has a featured role in the film, and romances with Kay Kayser. Another romanee has John Barryrnore and tempestuous Lupe Lelez for its principals, with the fiery Lupe providing many laughs as she follows up her erring flance. The second feature is "Road Aigent." Dick Foran, Leo Carrillo, and Andy Devine are teamed in this cowboy picture. It is the latest of a new series of action dramas Universal is filming with this new einema trio. Foran, who sings as capably as he rides and shoots, is featured in two song numcers, the old-time favourite, "Cielito Lindo" and a new cowboy tune, "Ridin' Home." And besides this, Foran teams with Anne Gwynne to supply the romantic interest in the film.
