MORE KNITTING WOOL.

RESULT OF WOMEN'S PETITION The women who recently assisted a wool petition by signatures and | service have received advice from Mrs A. N. Grigg, M.P., that two extra spinning plants have been coopted for the purpose of adding to the supply of knitting wool. The Minister for Supply states that about lOOOib. of wool will be available, weekly, from the end of November, ot be distributed on an equitable basis to the women throughout New Zealand. A definite effort has been made to supply this urgent need oi the community, and gratitude is due to Mrs Grigg for her persistency in pressing the petition.
