HOTELS TAKEN OVER

BRITISH NAVY IN AMERICA. NEW YORK, Sept. 9. An advance force of 75 British seamen, the first of "several thousand" due to arrive in the next few weeks, have rnoved into the Monterey and Berkley Cabaret Hotels on the beaehfront at Asbury Park, -New Jersey. The hotels were taken -by the United States Navy last week. Commander David C. Patterson, representing Rear Admiral E. J. Marquardt, commanding offieer of the Third Naval District, said he would be in charge of the sailors until the hotels were offieially turned over to the British Navy.
