Two women, Mrs A. B. Campbell, widow, and Mrs Golin Carnpibell, her claughter-in-law, are in a _precanous condition in the Napier Hospital as the result of an assault on them last cvening. At the Magistrate's Court to-day David John Campbell, aged 20, a timber worker, was charged with attempted murder.
