Further decisions by the Armea Forces Appeal Board, comprising Messrs G. L. Page (chairman), L. Ward and J. Dicker, which is conducting a sitting at the Blenheim Courthouse were made yesterday as follows: —

Sutherland for Rex Sutherland, farmhand; K. Watson for Ronald Mornington Doig, farmhand; J. W. Price and R- F. Crispm, the Kaituna Branch of the Farmers' Union, the Marlborough Primary Production Council and appellant for Victor Charles Powell, farmer. Primary Production appeals were adjourned sine die as follows: Harry Willis Simmons, cheese factory employee ; Donald Glbson Lucas, farm- - hand ; Ncel Edward Garrett, shepherd; Kenneth Scott Ferraby, farmer; Herbert Kenmore Emerson, farm manager; John William Devine, farmhand; Hector Donald Cameron, farmhand; Kenneth Gilchrist, farmer. The following appeals were adjourned: Director of National Service for Charlie Browiil, mechenic employed by F. E. Musgrove, adjourned to January 31; McCallum Bros. for Athol James Lammas, tractor driver, to March 31; Production Council for Norman Logan, teamster, to March 31. A Production Council appeal for John Joseph Watson, farmhand, was dismissed, subject to the reservist not being called up before March 15. A further appeal by the council in respect of Frank Rasmus Simonsen, farmhand, was withdrawn. Appeals by members of the Territorial Forces against being required to serve overseas were heard as fol lows: Svlvanus William Scowen,

farmhand, dismissed; Joseph George Burnby, farmhand, dismissed; George Henry William Gridley, lorry driver, withdrawn; William Cecil Dechantel Mancer, dairy factory employee, withdrawn; Frederick George Marfell, farmhand, adjourned sine die; Kenneth William Wooding, farmer and lime worker, adjourned sine die.
