EDMONTON (Alberta), Oct. 19. The Minister for Trade and Commerce, Mr Mackinnon, said in a statement that the string of airports from Edmonton t'o Yukon and the new
Alaska highway had in the main been successfully concluded. "These projects, intended not only for defence but for attack, will have a profound influence on the future course of the war." he asserted.
