TWO JAP. DESTROYERS HIT.

U.S. BOMBERS AT KISKA. B.O.W. RUGBY, Oct. 18. "On Friday Army bombers carried out low-altitude attaeks on two Japanese destroyers off Kiska," states a TJ.S. Navy Department communique. "The attack lasted for 45 minutes, and resulted in five hits on one destroyer and four on the other. Heavy explosions and fires resulted. When last- seen both the ships were fourning, and their crews had abandoned them. We lost ohe bomber."
