PAYMENT TO GERMANY.
FRANCE'S WAR INDEMNITY. B.O.W. RUGBY, Oct. 15. The indemnity payable by France to Germany during the first half of 1942 was about £315,000,000, according to a statement made in the House of Commons by Mr Dingle Foot. Of this probably £100,000,000 was spent on the upkeep of Germany's army of occupation.
