WOMEN'S INSTITUTE.
BLENHEIM BIRTHDAY PARTY. The^e was a good attendance at the birthday meeting of the Blenheim Women's Institute, to which the president, Mrs Adams, welcomed all visitors. Greetings were given from the Dillon's Point, Springlands- Farnham, and Redwoodtown Institutes.
The roil call "Favourite Plays" was well responded to. Musical items by Mesdames D. M. Wemyss and A. C. Williams were much appreciated. The Singing Circle gave some very enjoyable items, and the Drama Circle presented a play-reading. The best bloom competition resulted : Mrs Bullen 1, Miss Whiteford and Mrs Bonsall 2 equal; amateurs, Mrs Bishell 1, Mrs Fantham 2. | The hostesses were Mesdames Mul - j holland, E. March, H. March, W. I Mitchell, R. Neville, G. Palk, R. Patchett, B. Patchett, Pollard and T. Ranger; Misses G. and M. Mills.
