HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
''Strange Alibi" will be finally screened at His Majesty's Theatre to-night. To-morrow will be a night of levity. Picture No. 1 is "Broadway Limited." This unreels a laugh-filled, swiftly-paced story of the vicissitudes in the life of the great film star, Aprii Tremaine, who is en route from the west coast to Kew York, accompanied by her film director and publicity agent. As a publicity stunt, the public is led to believe that Miss Tremaine is the mother of a baby g'irl. But at the time of this announcement, the baby of a socially prominent family is kidnapped, and identifying marks on Miss Tremaine's baby are similar to those of the child who has disappeared. This inevitably leads to a whole series of dramatic incidents, which are packed with suspense and surprise. Picture No. 2 is "Laugh it Off," and the fact that Tommy Trinder is at the head of the cast gives some idea of the hilarious nature of the film. Chapter 5 of "The Sky Raiders" will also be shown.
