A Boston newspaper which has been received by an Auckland resident states that cows on some of the farms at Wellfleet, in the Cape Cod district of Massachusetts, have been munching New Zealand hay as the result of a beaclicoming expedition by their owners. Eleven large bales of hay were discovered after being brought in by the tide, every one being marked, "Fine Marlborough Hay. Supply Company, C. W. Parker, Limited, Blenheim, New Zealand." It was thought that the hay was part of a deck load on a merchantman bound for Britain. When interviewed about this incident this afternoon, Mr N. G. Parker said that his firm was x eonstantly sending hay as food for stud stock shipped from the Dominion for Britain, South America and before the war, for Japan. The hay referred to in the Boston paper, Mr Parker said, was probably part of the food supply of stud sheep shipped some time ago to Britain. V — „
