NATIONAL SAVINGS
DISTRICT MISSES QUOTA. HAVELOCK, SEDDON, WARD SUCCEED. The Blenheim postal district and the towns of Blenheim and Picton missed their National Savings quotas last week, the district failing to achieve success by £176. Havelock, Seddon and Ward each passed their allotment and are flying flags to-day. Detailed investments with the respective quofas in parentheses are as follows :— Blenheim £423 9s (£576), Havelock £42 14s (£42), Picton £99 5s (£112), Seddon £58 11s (£45), Ward £20 16s (£19). The district's total investments were £644 5s as against a quota of £820.
