The chairman of the Common-. wealth Bank Board, Sir Claude Reading, is issuing a statement setting out the attitude adopted by the Bank Board in the recent negotiations with the Loan Couneil coneerning the financing of the- Governmental deficits. He ' denied that the Board had stipulated any amount to which State deflcits should be limited. The Board, however, had informed the Loan Couneil that it was seriously eoncerned with the" amount of finance sought from the bank.
