LONDON, Sept. 30. "Tliid futtlre coiistitution and work of the Imperial Economic Conunittee will be discussed at the Imperial Conference, wliich will decide any ohanges necessary in its. organisation," said Mr L. S. spheres, including Colonel Orm.sbyGore, Lord Bprnham, Sir Thomas Woorlnt an Burbridge, Sir William Clark. and Sir William Furse, also Atr W. S. Ofawford, the advertising agent. and Mr Erank Pick, assistant managing director of the London Underground Railways and Omnihuses'. Publicity embraced advertisements, articles in newspapers, specially designed posters, which would be sent all over Britain, lectures, broadcast tatks, fite ■fxhibitions, and regular bulletins on the Empire issued to the schools. The Board had already hegun researcli, including malnutrition of flooks and lierds, which in the nast had been confined to Scotland and South Africa. The Board was also> consiflering the method of dissemination and results of scientific research in the Dominions. The Board wias inaking grants for reseaireli in marketing methods. also to produce rs organisations for the exportation of pedigree stock from Britain . The Board de voted £35,000 tio the Imperial Bureau of Entomologv to investigate insect pests, which anliually destroyecl 10 per cent. of the world's crops, and was also vsing, trade exhibitions to displav Empire food'stuffs bv awarding £1000 in prizes and three silver cups for the best sliop-window display in I^ondon in connection with the Imperial Fruit Show.
