AUCKLAND, Sept, 30. The effect of opening the Auckland broadeasting station is making wireless receiving popular, with the result that tlie number of lioenses issued to liste-ners-in is increasiug rapidly. P'rior to t-he opening of tlie station there were 1000 sets in Aifckla-nd province. Now there are 3000. About 50 licenses are being issued daily.
