WELLINGTON, -Sept. 30. Tlie Locomotive Engineers Journal indicates serious dissatisfaction in. the railway service, both with the Minister and the Board. The Journal alleges grave mismanagement. The old bogey of 110 money amilable to meet requests for increased wages and improved oonditions will not he accepted while the mismanage-ment exists. Among tlie complaints is the quality of ooal supplied. Stop work meetings are hinted at to compel the management to reduce the prevalence of draw gear failnres. The Grand Council meeting 011 November '22lid to discuss the question of ways and means , of securing increased wages and ini-prove-d conditions is descr i bed as momentous.
