RESULT OF SECRET BALLOT.
MINERS DECIDF; TO RETURN TO WORK. (Received Sept. 30, 1.20 a.m ) LONDON, Sept 29. The Miners' Executive is surprised at the result of the secret ballot in Atherton (Lancashire), where the miners, by 982 votes to 323, decided to resume work on th© employers,' terms. Two thousand men are involved, and the pits will be opened to-da-y.
