WHAKATANE, Sept. 27. A voung njan named Reginald Horace Hudleston, aged 26, was found dead at Awakeri on Saturday with a gunshot wound in his head. The evidenoe at the inquest yesterday showed that the deceased had been depressed after an influenzai attack. The Coroner rgturned a verdict that death was due to a gunshot wound self-inflicted while the deceased was temporarily mentally deranged.
