OHRISTCHUROH, Sept. 27. The Wellington touripg team. got a thorough drubbing from Canterbury, who in the first half put on 14 to 5 and in the seoond 27 to 9. At one time in the second spell the visitors played up strongly, scoring three tries in succession, but none was converted. The score was then 22 to 14, and after that the Northerners compjetely faded away and the local backs ran in much as they liked. Towards Oanterbury's total ltobilliard contributed three tries and Elvy and Ki rkfand two each.
