Sun Diego (California) messages state that Placide Joseph Ducrest, who on September 16th was sentenced to eighteen months' iri the penitentiary for smuggling aliens into the United States, has not yet entered the prison, but has been taken to San Francisco for questioning in connection with ihe bullion robbery from the steamer Sonoma in 1921.
