CRRISTCHURCH, April 5. ' ■ \t the Addington live stock market to-day the entries in all classes of sheep were'larger than last week. There was a good attendance. Better quality store ewes sold well, but inferior sorts were neglected; store lambs and wethers sold at late rates; fat lambs v; ere . practically without change; prime fat sheep, especially wethers, weie rather firmer.; store cattle were dull of sale, but .there was a keen demand for store pigs. Store Sheep: Forward lambs 13s to 10s. ordinary iambs 12s to 12s 9d, cull lambs Ss to lls 6d; two-tooth ewes 16s to 18s 4d, four and six-tooth ewes 19s to 25s 3d low conditioned four, six, and eight-tooth ewes 13s 2d to 16s 2d, sound mo'ithed ewes lls to 16s, twotooth wethers 16s to 18s 4d; forward four and six-tooth wethers 22s 2d to 235.
Fat L snubs (4251 ' yarded) * Extra prime lambs to 265, prime lambs 21s to 24s 7d. others 16s to 2Gs 6d.
Fat Sheep: Extra prime wethers to 36s dd, VH-hno. wethers 25s to 295, others 19s 9d to 24s 6d; merino wethers 18s fid to 21s; prime ewes 24s to 2Cs Bd, medium 19s to 23s 6d, others 14s to 18s 6d.
Fat Cattle: Extra prime steers to £13, ordinary steers £9 2s 6d -to £12 7s Od; extra prime heifers £16 15s, ordinary heifers £7 to £12: prime coirs to £16, ordinary cows £6 17s 6d to £12.
Store Cattle- Yearlings 30s, 15 to 18-months £2 10s. 2-year steers £4 7s Gd, two-year heifers £4 16s, 3-year steers £6 10s, 3-year heifers £5 ss,'dry cows £2 ss. to £6 ss.
Dairy cows, £3 os to £15
baconers 58s to £5 3s —equal to 6£d per lb; porkers 36s to 50s—equal to 7d to 7£d per 1b; medium stores 28s to 38s, small 18s to 275, weaners 12s to 17s.
