DRAWING THE LINE.

EDUCATION DISTRICTS.

WELLINGTON DOES NOT WANT US.

[Press Association.]

WELLINGTON, Oct. 27. Some discussion took place at a meeting of the Wellington Education Board yesterday regarding the new district 'boundaries.

Mr A. W. Hogg expressed the opinion that if any attempt were made to include Nelson or any part of the South Island in the Wellington district a huge blunder would be made.

Other members supported this view, and it was unanimously retsolved "that this Board1 strongly protest against the inclusion of any part of the South Island in the Wellington education district; and that a copy of this resolution be sent to the chairman end members of the Council of Education, who have the matter in hand."
