It is stated m shipping circles that the Federal Government has commaindeered all the coal in other States for the transports. This will: vaean that no coal will be available for private shipping unless vessels are able to coal at Newcastle, which is considered improbable, as it is anticipated that the Newcastle lumpers will act in uni&ori with Sydney.
