THE GARDEN FETE.
THE MARTIANS
INVASION OF BLENHEIM TO-
NIGHT,
The Radio office reports the receipt of further wireless messages from our approaching visitors from Mars. It is now definitely known that they will arrive in Blenheim via the Alfred Street Bridge at 8.15 this evening. The vehicles conveying the visitors will be self-propellod, and of the typo used in Mars; but apparently they do vnot differ greatly from some specimens of those used on earth. 0n& would appear to represent the old typo and one tho new of terrestrial motor-car. The secretary of the Garden Fete will welcome the visitors on the Rotunda in Market Place, after they have paraded the town— somewhere' about B.3o—after which the visitors will reply and take their departure to their earthly lodgings ,'i mid a salvo of fheworks of tiie j Martian type.
