Also' started : Lady Menschikoff. Won by two lengths. Time, Imin. 44 4-osec. Whareroa Hurdles: Sandy Paul 1, Ayiatrix 2, Marton 3. Also started: Whimper and Bercola. Won by two lengths. Meremere Handicap: Grattan 1, Park Tide 2, Lady Fran 3. Time Imin. 3 3-s&ec.
D. Pagetj rider of Lucerne, broke his collarbone, and O'Shea and McDonald were also hurt.
Ohawe Hurdles: Ngatiranui 1, Allure 2, Serenity 3. Also started: .Timothy, Clemency, and Princess Jjlq. Won by three lengths. Time, 2mm. 47 3-ssec. .
Egmont Cup: Undecided 1, Con the Shaughran 2, Mira 3. Time, 2min. 35 2-ssec.
