[PKESS AS6OCIAIDIOK;.] (Received Feb. 5, 5:5. p.m.) . MELBOURNE, Feb. 5. Conflicting opinions have been formed regarding the Northern Territory.
Mr Williams, visiting the country m behalf of the Welsh settlers in Patagonia, reports that it is a white man's country. The northern portion within the monsoonal area is not subject to drought.
"Never in. the history of British colonisation," he says, "'have such inducements been offered. to white settlers.'" •
