(Received Feb. 6, 9,15 a.m.) BRISBANE, Feb. 6. The floods are unprecedented. The Mareeba is six feet higher than any previous record.
The river broke its banks and covered half a mile of "houses. The flood swept away the pumping station at the State works and wrecked the courthouse at Biboohm.
