DEATH OF A NEW ZEALANDER
Napier, April 3. The Mayor received a telegram lasi evening stating that his nephew, Syd ney Northe* had died in South Africs on February 16th of enteric fever Northe was a member of the First New Zealand Contingent, and returned U the colony with Lieut. Hughes, at'tor wards going again to South Africa.
