♦ : Press Association. Electric TelegrapK Copyright. Inveroabgill, April 3. At the annual ram fair yesterday the prices realised were up to expectations, especially those for flock rams. Stud English Leicesters, bred byNixon, of Canterbury, brought 7| guineas; Border Leicesters up to 15| guineas for two-shear rams bred by McCrosbie. Stud Border Leicesters ranged from 3 to 8 guineas. Lincolns were at a discount, sheep bred by J. B. Sutton fetching only 4J guineas. The flock rams, mostly Border Leicesters, were a good lot. The top prices were. 5 and 4-J guineas for McKerchan Bros*, and James King's breeding, down to ly guineas. The English breeders were also a high class and competition was spirited, the prices being from 2| to 5f guineas. Romneys had a poor inquiry at 2 to 21 guineas ; Shropshires up to 3 guineas. After the flock rams had been sold the demand slackened, and owners withdrew rather than accept the prices offering. __^
