Received April 2, 10 a.m. Brisbane, April 2. A rumor lacking confirmation is that Dalke, manager of the Carnarvon Station, and Constable Doyle were shot while pursuing the men who last week stole horses from the Merivale Station.

Armed police have be'ett sefltt to the scene of the supposed murders.
