AN AFFAIR NEAR COLESBURG. RESCUED FROM A "TIGHT PLACE." Capetown, January 5. Twenty - five New Zealanders ooouping an exposed position on a kopje towards Oolesburg drew a sadden fire from many Boers con' cealed on the hill aoross a narrow flat. Major Robin, with a picket, hastened to their relief, covering a mile nnder heavy fire. He safely rescued them, then retiring amid a fanil of ballets, two British gnus covering their retreat.
