Wellington, January 8. While at riding exercise this morn* ing two pf the contingent— Privates Siquall (of Marton) and Chapmanwere thrown. Siquall's injuries are not serious, only receiving a severe shaking. Chapman hails from Napier, and his horse fell on him. It is feared his spine is injured. Later he was * removed to the Wellington Hospital. It is expeoted the contingent will be ready to sail on the 15th.
