FIRES IN WELLINGTON.
[ONITRD PBBBB ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, January 1. A boot shop m Ouba Street occupied by J. Mason, and owned by Mr Underwood, was gutted this morning. The occupants saved nothing but were insured m several offices. A oonfectioner's shop on Lambton Quay, occupied by Mr Wheatly also caught fire last night and a good deal of damage wan done,
