THE OPAWA BRIDGE.
To the Editor of the Marlborough Express. Sih, —Allow mo through you to call the attention of the Provincial Council to the state of the Opawa Bridge, some of the stays in which are quite loose. For want of an hour or two’s work in tightening the iron rods, by means of the screws for the purpose, the whole bridge is in danger.—Yours, &c., A Traveller. [Wo are informed that the piles of the above bridge also require attention, and that one at least has bean washed out by the recant fresh.— Ed. M.E.]
