UNTIMELY FESTIVITY.
To the Editor of the Marlborough Express.
“^tr, —In your last issue appeared a letter sub.v i'H’d ‘‘A Father,” which 1 am told (to my astonishment) is attributed to me; 1 beg that you will give me space in your columns this week emphatically to disclaim the authorship. I did and do not consider the letter worth reading, far less writing. When I shoot at “ popinjays,’’ I hope to find a much hem rsort of ammunition ; I dissent from the writer’s opinions as much as I reprobate his style of express!' g them. —Yours, &c., Blenheim, Sept. 2!th, 1868. W, Budge.
