Wellington, Friday, September 11th, 8 p.m; Fcrtheu particulars are to hand of the attack on Ngntu-o-te-Manu, from which we learn that the force consisted of 200 Europeans, and 100 Wanganui natives. The scene of the fight was at Ruarura, a quarter-of-a-tnile hearer Ngutu-o-te-Manu. The Wanganuis drove in the outlying picquet, and the whole force occupied a gully for nearly ten miles, when officers and men falling obliged them to retreat. Both officers and men, and especially the Wanganui natives, behaved extremely well, and fought gallantly. Besides those killed as already stated, 24 were wounded. Of ike rebels* 28 to 31 were killed. Mr. Fox’s No-confidence motion promises to be a tight run. Messrs. Graham, Curtis, Reynolds, Horlase, Travers, and Heaphy have spoken in favor, and Messrs. Stafford, Brown, Campbell, and Jollie against the motion.
