TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, —ls it the usual custom of the Gore Town Board to hold its meetings in the clerk's office and not in the hall'? I ask because I was one of a number who went to attend last meeting, and we then found the Board sitting in the cierk's office. Being of retiring dispositions, we did not like to j intrude into a private office, even though public business was being done there and the meeting was supposed to be open to the public, and supposing we had gone in we would not have got seats. We expected to hear some fun at the last meeting, and will probably attend the next meeting iE held in the hall, but if again held in the clerk's office we will be vevy much Disappointed.
