SCHOOL TEACHERS.
T« THE EDITOR. SrR, — I observe that the Mataura school teacher, Mr Anderson, is bestirring himself in enlightening the adult portion, male and female, of - the Mataura district by giving evening lectures upon interesting and instructive subjects. How much better this is for a schoolmaster than to be mixing up in politics and petty public grievances, acting ' for newspapers as " Our own Correspondent," and thereby twisting or turning any subject to suit his own views. — I am, etc., Observer.
