AUCTIONEER'S REPORT.
j Mr I. S. SIMSON j reportß for week ending 19th May :>- Horses.— At a sale of horses held in the yards on Saturday, the J2tb, lie disposed of 7 medium draughts at prices from .£22 to £25. Cattle.— On jthe 12th 30 head of store cattle were yarded but were passed at £3 10s per head. All the fat cattle yarded sold at £5 per head, after keen competition. He also reports having held a dewing sale at Mr A M'lntyre's, Pukerau, on the 19th. The farm was pas^ e«d in at £6 per acre, £5 10s only being oflered. Possibly it may be sold in a few days for £G per acre. 20 J drau ght horses were sold at prices ranging from £16 to j £26 10s j merino wethers, 10s ; crossbred ewes, 7s ; merino ewes, 3s Id. Implements all sold at satisfactory • prloos, |j Property.— Mr Simson reports having sold Mr Franco's property in Gordon, for £176, to Mr F. S. Canning, as agent for Airs Rowe. Horses.— ln Mr Canning's yards on the >19th inst, he . sold several medium draught horses from £24 to £26 10s. O rain.— Mr Simson reports having purchased a large parcel of oats at Is 6d cash, delivered at Otoxe.
