He is by Old Surprise, which was first as a two year old at Johnstone, Cambuslang, ike., &c., and twice gained the Prize for the best Stallion, at the Glasgow Society’s Shows, to travel in the district. He also gained the Highland Society’s First Prize at Inverness, and other Prizes, to travel as a Stallion. IvILBOWIE’S Darn also gained many Prizes. “ Kilbowie” gained the First Prize at Drymen as a two year old, and first at Stirlingshire Shows. “Kilbowie” was purchased from that well known breeder Mr. David Riddel, Kilbowie, Duntocher. Teiois : £4 per mare, payable to Mr H. J. Stace on the first January, 1882. Croomage ss, to be paid on first service.
