RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT. Blenheim, -Monday, Nov. 15. (Before H. Mclntire, Esq., R.M]. STRAY HORSES. Mr G. \Y. Riley was charged with permitting six horses to stray in High-street on the 9th instant. Defendant pleaded guilty and was fined 5s for each liorse, and costs. STACK* V. SUTTON. This was a claim for L2 12s Gd for boots. Defendant paid the amount into Court. Mr Sinclair asked for costs, stating that the amount was only paid at 10 minutes to 11 o’clock that morning, by which time plaintiff had come into town from Spring Creek to prove his case. The Court gave judgment for plaintiff, with costs. J. TAIT V. T. FERN. This was a claim for L2 11s, for sub. seription and advertising in the Makt.lioiioufi ii Times. Defendant admitted the debt but asked for time, and was ordered to pay it within a fortnight. This concluded the business before the Court. RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT. Havei.ouk, November 11. Police v. Kf.nninoton. Defendant was charged with a breach of the Vagrant Act on the 23rd October at Havelock, and was fined 10s, and 11s costs. WARDEN’S COURT. Havelock, November 11. (Before J.
