The Inspector was also instructed to visit the whole of the roads in the district, and repott on the state of the gorse hedges. The Uhaltmali applied to have the mwi formed leading to the flax-mill. He said the road was very narrow, and would not cost much, and as this mill would soon he in full work the traffic along it would be sometiling considerable. ' . On the motion of Mr Soper, seconded bv Mr Dodson, it was resolved that the roan should be formed, and the Secretary was instructed to call for tenders at once. The Chairman moved that the rate for the year ISSO-1, be Is in the Pound. _ Mr Soper seconded, and the motion was carried. On tile motion of Mr Dodson, the Inspct* or was instructed to examine Hillocks, Selmes’, Watts’, and the school roads, and report as to the probable cost of metalling ivorst places. The following accounts were then passed for payment:—Messrs Bragg LI 8 18s, Cooperative Drain Company LlO, F. Beamslev L 7 10s G, Ohlsen LI 0s 3d, Meehan and Co. L 5 13s Gd, Craven L 5 2s, Ronowe.z L2, Inspector LI l ss, Secretary L/ 10s, Impounder L2 10s. The Board then adjourned.
