The chairman mentioned that although the resolution was withdrawn the suggestion to erect the memorial in the town was not cast aside. The committee hac_ a guide that the feeling of the meeting was to have the memorial placed in the cemetery, but there was no telling, but that the fund will be augmented sufficient to justify the committee recommending the erection of the memorial in the borough.—To Aroha News.
