j Mr. 0. Schaare, the owner of General Latomy has. purchased a brown yearling filly" by General Latour— Sunshine, for which the name Lady Latour has been applied for. The youngster will be • taken, in hand straight away with a view to competing in two-year-old events. 'This filly is a half sister to Queenie Soult. Mr. G. Johnston's lhapotoa again got on the winning list on Thursday, winning the seven-furlong v hack race 'it" Afhurst. This makes two wins, a second and a third in eight days. Lady Cuirassier, Mr. W. Casey's brood mare, has foaled a very nice brown filly foal to Valkyrian. i
