The Anglican Ladies’ Guild are holding a social and dance in the Town Hall on Tuesday, May 18th. At tho salo of tho Chudloigh estate on Friday by Dnlgety & Co., a number of the soctions wore sold. Tho following are the prices of those sold : —Section 29, 100 acres, Mr Crozior, £;35 10s per acre ; 31, 79 acres, Mr Crozier, £36; 27, 101 acros, Mr J. Carroll, £35 10s. The following sections were passed in ; Lot 11 nt £24. 13 at £27. 15 at £22, 16 at £2O, 17 at £3l, 24 at £2B, 25 at £32, 26 at £36, 28 at £27, 32 at £29,36 at £32. It is stated that since the sale a number of tho sections liavo boon sold privately.
